Relentless Super Skate Series: Sunday 20th November 2011

Cheers to everyone who came along to the Relentless Super Skate Comp here at Revolution.
Some of the UK's top skaters came along to compete for the £1000.00 prize money and equipment up for grabs. Below is a selection of pics by us and Photographer Ted Cunningham who risked life and limb to get some closeup shots.

Skateboarding was the inspiration for Revolution being built in the first place mainly due to the fact that everyone involved in building the place has a background in Skateboarding and Surfing.

Revolution has had many "big name" Skaters visit here over the years

including: Chet Childress, Tim Brauch (pictured left), Darren Navarette, Ronnie Creager, Jake Brown and many more. Videos and pics of these guys can be found on our website and our YouTube channel.

The park in it's early days was very much designed around Skateboarding although this changed throughout the past 13 years to suit all users of the park. Most of our staff are Skateboarders and will be able to answer most Skateboarding related questions you have.

There are a few simple rules and regulations you need to follow if you are going to come Skateboarding here:

Firstly, ALL users under the age of 16 are required to wear a helmet. The day you turn16, you are no longer required to wear one (although, we recommend that you should always wear a helmet whilst using the

park). A helmet can be rented from us at £1.00 per 2hour session or £3.00 if you are skating here all day.

Anyone under the age of 16 will also need to have a parental consent form filled out and signed by a parent or guardian. The form needs to be filled out neatly as the information needs to be added to our database. If the form is not readable, we can refuse admission until a new form is submitted.

Revolution Skatepark first opened early in 1998 due to the high demand from Skateboarders, Inliners and BMX'ers from all over Kent. It has been designed to suit all levels of ability and ages. Challenging, without compromising safety.
