Revolution on Sumo Tv
If you missed the episode of Curb Surfers episode 4 the other night, you can catch up by clicking here.
You should especially watch this if you were one of the people that were here during the filming of Skate Lessons last week.
This show is so well produced and edited that I'm sure we'll be seeing this on mainstream TV. Good work chaps!

Enjoy!
Blind Demo
Excuse the pun, but "What a Blinder!"
Ronnie Creager, Jake Brown, Corey Sheppard and James Craig visited the park on Sunday to do their only demo of the entire tour. You can read all about it and see the photos by clicking here or visiting the Sk8 News page.
Tim Waves Goodbye
After months of planning and saving, Tim Hoy has finally said "So-Long" to England and headed off to Spain for his first stop in an around the world surf and skate trip.
All of us here at the park are gutted to see Tim go. As well as an all round nice guy, he was a naturally talented skater and will be missed by us all.
Tsunami Appeal Raises £1000
Thanks to all of you who generously contributed to our Tsunami Disaster Appeal.
We raised £800.00 on the door during Friday the 14th January and another £200.00 from prizes kindly donated by Duffs and Death Skateboards. The funds will be going to the British Red Cross who are doing some fantastic work in the hardest hit areas.
Those of you who were lucky enough to win will (or have already been) contacted by phone. The photo on the left is of an ecstatic Jack Ellis who was lucky enough to win a "Lee Dainton" Death Deck. (Jack is the one on the Left!)
Park News
Just to let everyone know what's happening in the park.
The new ramp has now been built and got heavily sessioned during the event on the 2nd October. You will also notice some construction work going on in the park. This is the beginning of the transfer of the cafe to the inside of the park. Basically, we felt that the existing cafe was too far removed from the park itself, so we decided to incorporate it into the main building. The spectator area will soon be enclosed and heated with some comfy seating and windows to block out a lot of the park noise.
If you want to see a pretty neat panorama shot of the Streetcourse and especially the new ramp, click here.
On a different subject, what do you think about having a mini-ramp jam/comp? Would you enter? Drop us a line and let us know!
Bye Andy!
It was a sad, sad day for everyone here at Revolution as we bid a tearful farewell to our very own Andy "DJ Loin/MC Do1/Colgate" Barratt.
Andy is off to sunny Oz to "ride the big ones dude" and after that, back to Europe to teach Snowboarding to over-priviledged teenage surfer chicks. (Grrr).

Andy will be sorely missed by everyone here at the park, especially the kids in the Tuesday and Wednesday night Skate lessons.

Have a good one fella!
Scooter Madness
Ok then, hands up those of you who thinks that scooters are for kiddies. Well you may want to think again after seeing this video clip.
Terry Price is one of the top guys in the country and also does a mean Front flip-Tail Whip! Gnarly stuff!

If anyone else has a neat (short) video clip they'd like to see on the site, either pop it onto CD or email it to us. We'll take a look and if it's rad enough, it'll appear here.

Revolution Skate/BMX Jam (Pics of our previous Jams)
31-12-03
Skate and BMX Jams (30th December 2003)
The BMX Jam was organised so that all riders both young and old would get the chance to session the mini/midi ramps and street course free of Skaters and to the soothing tunes of DJ Colgate. The session ran between 6pm and 8pm and attracted a reasonable amount of riders who. after a 30 minute warm-up started sessioning the mini-ramp with 360 transfers over the mini-spine and some serious big air turndowns/wall stalls out of the larger section of the mini-ramp. Riders from both Medway and Thanet (Ross and Coxy) were really starting to go big in the street course with tricks from: Wall ride transfers, 360 bar spins, Air nothings, Kan Kans and a whole lot more as you can see from the photos below.
Everyone who attended enjoyed themselves, especially the younger up and coming riders trying to follow in the footsteps of the more experienced riders.

Next up was the 8 to 10 session which saw a huge turn out of Skaters from all over Kent. It looked like it was going to go off and we were'nt disappointed! Straight from the start, a mini-ramp session started with some of the more experienced Skaters pushing it to the limit with: Blunts, pivot-fakies, Indy 180's and pretty much anything else you could imagine as well. Kids were sessioning the mini-spine ramp attempting to bust out some of the more basic tricks, taking some great slams in the process and still managing to have a laugh about it with the rest of the Skaters. The street course at this point was going crazy with Skaters flying everywhere, trying to land their best trick. The driveway and box rail had to be the most sessioned piece of equipment throughout the whole of the Jam Session with: Frontside flips, Nollie heel flips, Nollie impossibles, Krooked grinds and over krooks, Kickflips to boardslides, Lipslides and much more! Bobby and Toby (local guys) were going large over the death box with flips and 360's.
At the end of the Jam, the kids were treated to a sticker toss which pretty much capped the whole evening off for everyone. The next Jam will be on Saturday the 17th of January between 4pm and 6pm (BMX) and 6pm to 8pm (Skate) so dont miss out on the best Jam in Kent!
