New Building and Ramps

As most of you know the outside ramp area is undergoing a major makeover, We have removed all the outside ramps to make way for a new enclosed warehouse which will contain a complete new skatepark that you will be able to enjoy all year round. While this work goes on, all our other indoor skate areas remain open as usual. The warehouse is designed to let maximum natural light in and will have 3 large opening doors on the car park side to let fresh air in. We have chosen this time to carry out these works to cause minimal disruption to our customers.

The warehouse will contain a beginners section, a street area and a long mini ramp with a few Revolution extras thrown in for good measure. It will not contain a wave machine, foams pit or stair sets as some of you have mentioned but rest assured, it will be amazingly good fun for all and designed in such a way to help spread everyone out during our busy times and enable us to separate certain users where necessary i.e. beginners/party's/lessons/scooters etc.

As ever we are working hard to complete this ASAP. The footings are being dug now, the warehouse should be with us next week and completed by mid February. Ramp building starts next week and we hope to close to completion towards the end of February.

Tricknology Program

Sunday Mornings at Revolution, we have the Tricknology Scooter Program, sponsored by Grit Scooters.

Tricknology is a freestyle Scooter trick program designed to help riders learn new tricks and skills.

Freestyle Scooter riding is a relatively new sport that is growing rapidly. As an easy entry in skate-park sports, Scootering is inspiring a whole new generation of young people to take up and get involved with freestyle/lifestyle sports.

To help this, Tricknology has been developed to inspire this young audience into the sport, and help them progress through it. Aiding them in learning new skills, new tricks and teaching them good skate-park etiquette and good sportsmanship along the way. If your a scooter rider, then this is where its at!

This is the pinnacle of freestyle scootering in the UK. Where you can test your skills, learn new tricks with your friends and get rewards along the way for doing it. Who can do the most tricks, who can win the awards?
Who will be the first to complete - Tricknology?

For all of you already taking part in the Tricknology sessions here at Revolution, you must register your details on the www.tricknology.co.uk website.

As soon as you register, you will see a list of teams to choose from. Choose Revolution Skatepark Ltd. When you are on our team, we can then start updating your scores and start getting prizes out to those of you who have won stuff.

Summer Skate & Scoot Camp 2011

Thanks to every that attended this year's Summer Skate Camp!
Everyone (including instructors had a great time and look forward to the next one.

Bowl Now Complete

After a couple of weeks of hard work, the main bowl is now complete. Its 4ft deep with a 5ft extension and amazingly fast.The smaller bowl will be ready by Friday 13th May and has been built close enough to the main ramp to enable transfers from one to the other.
