Bouldering Technique Workshop

This course is designed for any climber wishing to push their bouldering grade to the next level whether that is V2 or V8. All aspects of bouldering will be taught to help maximise your future progress. Our fully trained and experienced staff will be on hand to coach you throughout the duration of the three hour course.
The course takes place on the last two Wednesdays of every month between 7.30pm - 9.00pm. The course is available to anyone 14 years + and costs £25.00 per person. The dates for the next course are:

Indoor to Outdoor Course (Sport Climbing)

This course is for anyone wishing to transfer from indoor climbing to outdoor sport climbing. It will teach you all you need to know about safely leading on bolted climbs. Every aspect will be covered, from racking your harness to the correct way to lower-off a climb. To make the most of the course, it is necessary to have basic rope work skills for top roping and leading inside. The course is available to book at any time but must have a minimum of two participants. The two hour courses cost £30.00 per person. Belay Hire

Finding it hard to get yourself a climbing partner? Your regular climbing partner is away but you still want to top rope or lead? Well now you can! Revolution is now offering a belay hire service which includes a qualified climbing instructor to belay you. The service however, will provide no instruction. It is preferable to have all your own gear but equipment is available to hire at an additional cost. You can hire a belayer for £17.50 per hour but you must be a competent climber (or wish to be signed off as one).

Registration of £5.00 is a one-off lifetime fee that must be paid if the user intends to use the facility under the supervision of an Instructor whilst being taught or after proving to an instructor a level of competency that enables them to climb unsupervised.

Entries explained.
Bouldering trial
This entry allows you to boulder on your own on all the bouldering walls as well as getting two rope climbs on our 9m wall with an instructor. Includes harness and helmet hire.

Bouldering
Same as above, but without the rope climbs. This is the fee that applies to anyone wishing to use the centre on there own for bouldering only.

Fun Parties
Lasting around an hour depending on numbers, fun parties are the great for birthdays or celebrations for young and old alike. Includes everything a bouldering trial would but permits multiple goes on the ropes. Also, other rope climbs are available on harder walls.

Competent climber
To use the centre for rope climbs and leading, you must prove to member of staff that you can safely use the centre and be signed of as a member. The £5.00 fee is a one-off payment and is required to become a member.

Lessons
Lessons are a great way for groups to get a basic knowledge of climbing, learning everything from the correct way to put on harness to all the knots needed for you to start climbing. (Groups of six only.)

Instructor Hire
One on one instructor hire is available for a fast entry into the sport. Lasting one hour, the instructor can teach everything from knot tying to leading as well as all bouldering techniques required at Revolution. Booking in advance is essential.
